Formation in faith and morals is the primary reason for the existence of Our Lady of Guadalupe School. The focus of the spiritual formation of the students of OLG centers on developing their Catholic identity and living out their faith in Christ through love of God and neighbor. Instruction in all grade levels teaches the tenets of the Catholic faith and the nature of rituals, and symbols of the liturgy leading to their full participation in the Mass. Our students are prepared to become full members of the Body of Christ by participating in the Sacraments of Reconciliation, in the second grade, and in First Holy Communion, in the third grade.
OLG students continue to live a sacramental life of faith by their participation in weekly liturgy, prayer services, Stations of the Cross and monthly family Mass. In our liturgical celebrations, students are afforded the opportunity to serve as lectors, altar servers, ushers and choir members.
