Our Lady of Guadalupe School invites students from 5th through 8th grade who have already received both the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion to the ministry of Altar Serving. Serving Mass draws young people closer to Jesus. We count on parents to encourage their children to consider being Altar Servers. We want to offer our students the best opportunities to grow spiritually as well as intellectually and emotionally. There is no better way to learn about Jesus and our faith than by participating in the Mass, hearing God’s Word and receiving the Bread of Life. Mass participation nourishes the body, mind, and soul. As Altar Servers, students are provided opportunities to serve and spread the good news in and through the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
